Capacity gating
Your tier comes from the USD value of your balanceOf on Robinhood Chain, read when your wallet connects, priced from the launch curve and Chainlink ETH / USD. No subscription, no payment rails.
| Tier | $KVANT held | Encryptions / day | File size cap |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free | No $KVANT needed | 3 / 24h | 25 MB |
| Holder | ≥ $20 in $KVANT | 25 / 24h | 100 MB |
| Pro | ≥ $100 in $KVANT | 250 / 24h | 1 GB |
| Whale | ≥ $1,000 in $KVANT | Unlimited | No tier cap |
Contract
$KVANT is not live yet. The official contract address will be published here at launch, and only that contract will set your tier.
Open to every tier
- Quantum Seal on every encrypted file
- Wallet or key file mode
- .kvant messages at /m
- The MCP server for agents
How limits are enforced
Kvant has no backend, so the limits live in your browser. The encryptor counts file encryptions in this browser, resets the count at 00:00 UTC, and refuses a file above your tier's ceiling. It is a soft gate by design: encryption and decryption never wait on a server or the chain, and if the balance read fails the app falls back to Free. Further token utility, such as server-side quotas, is listed on the roadmap with no date.
Non-goals
- Not an investment: holding $KVANT changes your limits in the app and nothing else.
- No staking, no yield: utility is usage, not emissions.
- No token contract of our own: $KVANT is created by a launchpad already deployed on Robinhood Chain, with a fixed supply and no mint.
- No team allocation, treasury bucket or vesting contract: anything the team holds is bought on the curve like everyone else.
“Holders encrypt more.”
Thresholds are USD value held, so they cost the same whatever the price. A dip of up to 20% under a threshold keeps the tier.
